The warm season finally arrives on the catwalks of the major international fashion shows, and with it the desire to discover and showcase the legs, as it focuses on them the attention of designers in the Spring / Summer 2011. The curtain rises in September in New York with balloon trousers or trousers with multicoloured stripes and drawstring ankles, a flared skirt with a sash at the waist in the collection of Marc by Marc Jacobs expresses all its youth and freedom with casual trapeze skirts, shorts and baby doll dresses. It is the east that dominates the U.S. scene and ?made in Korea? catches the eye of Carolina Herrera. Through fluid lines and precise cuts her pencil skirts fall to perfection. Honour deserved also for London Fashion Week that plays host to the likes of Vivienne Westwood, author of an eco-chic collection of ethnic and tribal prints, almost a return to the magic of the past: curls, pleating and draping that give an air of comfort and ease of movement to the egg-shaped dresses. Mini tutu dresses, puffed out Bermuda shorts, gore-edged tunics and tomboy trousers. Points of lights also appear on the catwalk for Todd Lynn, very much appreciated by rock stars, where white dominates, with ice and silver for a "lunar" effect: trousers are tight over the ankle and the shorts have a strictly classic cut, decorated with elemens in silver and snakeskin on the edges of the pockets. No less interesting are the ?made in Italy? proposals seen in Milan: Etro offers a skirt with overlapping panels for an unstructured silhouette. Tones are neutral, such as sand, khaki, ??????cru and mingle with more vivid colours such as turquoise, cobalt, coral. Linens, gauzes, and jute are the preferred materials associated with the weave of metallic knitwear and bead inlays. Broderie anglaise shorts shorts
